We’re Christian and Sophie, and together with our brilliant team we run More Than Images, a friendly portrait photography studio in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
From our studio on the edge of the Chiltern Hills, we create relaxed, modern portraits for families, children, individuals, and their pets. Some sessions take place in the studio, others out in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, making the most of the natural rural landscape right on our doorstep.
Photography that feels like you
We know it can feel awkward being in front of the camera — or worrying about getting everyone, including your pets, looking natural. That’s why our sessions are relaxed, fun, and paced to suit you. We’ll guide you every step of the way, from posing and outfit choices to capturing those spontaneous moments that really show your family’s personality.
With over 35 years of professional photography experience, we’ve met every kind of camera-shy grown-up, wriggly toddler, unimpressed teenager, and over-enthusiastic dog - and we know how to turn those moments into beautiful, timeless images. Our aim is simple: to create photographs you’ll still love many years from now.
Our Wallingford studio
We’ve been running our Wallingford photography studio since 2001, welcoming clients from the surrounding south Oxfordshire villages, across Oxfordshire, Berkshire and further afield.
Over the years we’ve built strong relationships with local talented suppliers and makers who help us to deliver exceptional quality. From careful digital retouching to handmade frames and artisan prints, we believe your portraits deserve to be finished beautifully and ready to display in your home.
Every session is designed to be stress-free, so you can enjoy the experience while we take care of all the technical details - lighting, composition and editing - to ensure your portraits are perfect.
With parking right outside and a large, light-filled ground floor studio, we’re conveniently based in central Wallingford and easy to reach for everyone - from parents with newborn babies to visitors with mobility needs or wheelchair users.
